I can’t believe this, Roger Waters will reunite with his former Pink Floyd band mates (David Gilmour, Richard Wright and Nick Mason) for the Live 8 charity show on July 2nd, 2005 in London! The last time they performed together was 25 years ago, almost before I was born!

I’d crawl on my knees to see them perform again. Why am I not camping outside the venue begging for tickets? Any of you lucky enough to win the lottery for the tickets to the event? If yes, I’m dark green with intense envy. Why am I stuck in Germany? I hope I’ll wake up tomorrow and find tickets for the show under my pillow!

I do hope that this reunion is not a one-off affair and will result in a major tour. Rumor is that Gilmour and Waters have patched up their long-standing differences recently at a private party. Apparently, Bob Geldof brought it about by convincing Waters and Gilmour to bury the hatchet.

I’ll attend their reunion concert even if I’ve to sell my soul to the devil.
